If this is true, good for them. Due to the ratio of unhoused fraternities to unhoused sororities, I think most people would have preferred to see an unhoused fraternity get a house even though it was extremely unlikely in this situation. From what I understand, DPhiE has been struggling ever since their arrival on IU's campus, so hopefully the addition of a house will help them find the stability they need and draw in more PNMs. I know that the loss of Tri Delt has been hard for other houses that paired with them/had friends in there, but I can't seem to wrap my head around why people hate the idea of DPhiE getting the house. No matter what you want to believe, someone will move into Tri Delt next year, and it will not be Tri Delt. The loss of any house in the Greek community is sad, but we should come together and support DPhiE before we lose them as well.
