As with anything in life...you will get a lot of different opinions. From some people being elitist to some people being neutral/accepting to some people loving TPA. In general, I personally think that TPA is great and the apartments are awesome and will give you a house experience. The most important thing though is that you do what's best for you, and since you say you love TPA, it sounds like you knew that that was the best fit for you. You're always going to get haters, so brush that off. I'm a senior now so I can tell you for sure that being in a sorority is so much more than having a house or not.
