I think that some of the unhoused sororities have the strongest sisterhoods in terms of being accepting and supportive of each other. Even if you were in a housed chapter you wouldn't be super close with all of your sisters. That's just not realistic. And because of that I feel like the chapters that don't have houses really aren't that much different as some people would like you to believe. Also yes they have social lives and pair and go out. You'll find all of this if you were lucky enough to join but you need to give the chapter that you join a fair chance and throw yourself into the chapter activities to integrate yourself. It's up to all of the individuals to make the experience what they want and you may have to be the initiator for some things, but it's totally worth it
