Harsh but true. Chapters look the other way when a girl misses because she's a cheerleader or an athlete, but truthfully, those women do nothing for the chapter other than PR and make grades. They miss tons of activities, aren't around much and don't know a ton of people in the chapter. Be honest, if a girl can't get off work for bid day, she is going to have to ask off for all kinds of other events. Do you wan to have to deal with that all the time?
