ugh. I hate it when people use the term 'social climb'. It's like hey, I'm not going to rank you as a top 10, but don't worry, there's nothing you can do about it. If you don't do anything, then you slowly fall to the bottom as a chapter that doesn't care. If you try to make yourself better, then you're 'social climbing' and we will notice and point you out on that. Social climbing is just making your chapter better, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
