If you're a girl/guy thinking about going through rush/recruitment, it would really be in your best interest to ignore most of comments people put on this website. When I was a freshman I rushed four houses PIKE, Sig Chi, Delt Sigs, and FIJI. Thankfully I didn't make the mistake of only going to houses that I knew a lot of guys because I would not be in the house I am if I did that. Trust me don't make the decision based on where you think you'll get the most girls. Pulling at MSU may depend slightly on your house but trust me, this does not mean that guys in "lower" houses don't get girls. This is purely dependent on YOU not your house. You should make your decision off of where you see yourself growing as a leader and brother. A lot of you may have heard the whole "fraternity is where friends become brothers, and brothers become family". this sounds like a cheesy recruitment tagline. But Ive spent 3 years in my house and could not agree more with this statement. These are the guys that have been there for me in my worst and best times in college, these are the guys that will be at my wedding, and the guys I will always call brothers. Trust me fraternity isn't just about boozing, getting laid, and "chilling". You really will make bonds that last a lifetime, so choose your house wisely. Good luck to all the soon to be pledges and have fun with your upcoming pledge "internships". Trust me this is the worst and best internship you'll ever have. Make the most of it.
