Pike is just a lot of bloomfield and birmingham kids who wanted to all join Greek life, but be in the same house, and not really meet that many new people. they are a great house because of the location and kids from those two towns have money. TBH most kids from the two towns mentioned above do well in Greek life. Sigma Chi is kinda the same deal, but more out of state kids especially east coast and chicago. They are both two good, but different houses. If you want to rage, lift, and win IM sports like your life depended on it, join pike. If you want more of a preppy, smart, elitist group go sigma chi. Pike does a lot with alpha phi, and sigma chi does a lot with kkg. But at the end of the day if you make it into either of these houses on campus don't expect to name just take you places. Sigma Chi has a great national rep across the country expect it drops on the west coast a little, and Pike varies from school to school.
