It happens but normally houses only accept juniors if you already know bunch of girls in the house or if the house is really desperate for numbers. You wouldn't want to join a house as a junior anyway unless you already have friends in that house. Your pledge class will be made up of mostly freshman and maybe some sophomores, so you most likely wont really click with or bond with bunch of freshman girls living in dorms. That also means you would have to live in the sorority house your senior year and it can be hard to adjust to sorority house living after you've lived in an apartment or house for a year or two. Unless you've been living in the dorms or something because going from dorm life to sorority house is great but going from your own apartment or house to sorority house would suck.
