Not in a top srat but I think the appeal is mostly just socials with better frats and like the status of being associated with a good srat(i.e. like chi o is known as the hottest srat so saying you’re a chi o might mean people automatically think you’re hot). Also possibly getting invited to more hayrides/ dps/ semis/ formals. Girls I know in top srats are very obsessed with it and don’t really do much outside of greek life. I had a one of the top srats during pref but ended up choosing a “mid tier” sorority over them cause I liked the girls better. At the end of the day dont choose based on rankings, choose the girls you could see yourself being best friends with. Personally the girls in top srats seemed too superficial for me to imagine really being best friends with them.
