I had a similar situation going through rush and picked the mid tier over the top tier pref night. I went with gut and never looked back I have a couple other girls I went through rush with that did the same. To be honest the tier doesn’t matter, friendships matter! Btw I chose a guy from a lower mid tier house to be the bf over a top tier house guy that was in hot pursuit for a long time lol
