Today look around the room at the other pnms at the parties. Can you see yourself fitting in with them? Those are the people you will be spending the next four years with. Someone you spoke to may be a senior and maybe you didn't connect because she is 21/22 years old and you are 18. I get that people feel offended that you are judged based off a brief conversation, but let's be honest you are doing the exact same thing. You will bond with your pledge class more than anyone else in the house. If after a few weeks there is still no connection don't go through initiation.
