Last year there were around 1200 girls that went through recruitment. Lots of girls drop out and if you maximize your options (no suiciding etc you have like a 98% chance of getting a house). It's a little unfair to say msu needs more sororities, it's a selection process and you aren't "assigned" a house just for going through, it's a mutual selection process
