Recruitment is kind of a superficial, numbers thing. Certain sororities have to cut a lot of girls the first round (2 days) others don't cut any. So, if you make a score above the cut, you get invited back, if you don't, you don't. So, asking what your chances are is not easy to say. First, you need to make the grade point required by each house, or you are cut. Then they look at the person, not the age. Being around MSU, people may or may not know you. This can play in your favor or may be bad. Freshmen are exciting and have better luck because they are new and shiny. Some are known from high school (this can be good or bad). Some girls date a cute guy and everyone wants to party with at that frat, or want that guy's girlfriend in their house, etc. So, she may get in. The reasons girls get in are not always that logical and fair. There are lots of tears and disappointments. It sounds like you are a nice person and this will shine through. Everyone is nervous. The best sorority is the one that wants you too. Believe me, I had a little that no one was really sure how she got in and no one really remembered her from recruitment. She ended up dropping.
