don't drop out! you paid to go through recruitment so at least give it more than a day. i'm so genuinely sorry to hear that you didn't get the ones you wanted. the good thing about the greek system at sdsu is that each house is truly wonderful and filled with welcoming girls. if by the end of recruitment you really don't see a match, its not uncommon to rush as a sophomore. however, i'm one of those people who felt like i didn't connect with any sorority during rush and just sort of picked one. fast forward a couple of years and I thank god I didn't drop... i would have missed out on the best time of my life. it was something i wasn't sure about at first, but grew into it and can't imagine life without that house by my side. i know you're bummed but i promise an amazing experience is waiting for you elsewhere. also, keep in mind that if you "accept" a bid on bid day and then drop, you can't rush in the spring. you have to wait until the next fall. but spring rush doesn't give you many options and is a completely different process any way. ask your counselor about what that means more. i think every house takes sophomores so that's another option. good luck!
