Going Greek is not always the best decision for everybody. I say this from experience. If you are a relatively good student, who can BALANCE social life with school and work - then it's a good indication you can benefit from it. If only school and work works for you (many reasons why one cannot do all three) then it is hard. If you don't have to work (mommy & daddy) then at least make sure you can do school. It's a matter of "If you can do both, you can do both - if you can't - then you know which one has to be cut loose...." Most competent college students can do several things at once. If you can't - then maybe you're not "college material". In a professional life, you'll be often be called to do several things at once. Perhaps you were trained for that in High School, perhaps not. This is a big chance to show your time-management skills in life. If you can handle it - the rewards are great. Schedule it out. Prioritize things. You'll do great. Just don't let "partying" get in the way of all the great things ahead of you. :)
