Ok so everyone seems very curious about fraternity recolonization & we can only speculate who's next to colonize at SDSU, but we can lay out on here what we do know. -Fall 2015: There's no guarantee we will see a new fraternity colonize, but if national leaders and local alumni initiate a return & gain approved by the school's administration, we could see the return of any of the following IFC fraternities: ΣΑΜ, ΛΧΑ, ΣΠ, ΒΘΠ, TKE, ΔX, some darkhorse fraternity that hasn't been active at State in decades, or even one looking to colonize at SDSU for the first time ever. Personally, I'd think Lambda Chi would be the most likely to be next, simply because they are the only one of these fraternities still in ownership of property at SDSU (their house is at Fraternity Row & being rented out to the Student Veterans Organization. Sammy (Sigma Alpha Mu) is also a possibility, although unlike Lambda Chi, they sold their house on Frat Row to the school when they were kicked off. However, they could still buy it back, as there has yet to be a fraternity to inhabit it since they did in 09. I've also heard rumors of TKE coming back, but they'd need a house, as AEPi now has their old one. -Fall 2016: ΣΝ & ΔΣΦ are both eligible to return. They also both still own houses on Fraternity Row, which could help them return sooner rather than later. -Fall 2017: ΣX is eligible to finally come back. They still own their house & it is being rented out to ZBT this year (Theta Chi the past 2 years)
