DG has historically been a middle tier sorority, often argued as similar to KD and Gphi, although Gphi has always been a little higher due to reputation. This year, with the top houses preselecting a majority of their pledge class early on, the hotter and cool girls are more distributed to the middle tier sororities, particularly DG over Gphi and KD. Why? Gphi tends to be slightly more accepting when it comes to recruitment this year which allows DG to be more selective, picking a better pledge class. Naturally, as DG is higher than KD the rest will filter to KD.
