Subject:
it’s easy to just get mad at one frat

Poster Message:
I find it ridiculous how other frats are mad at Fiji or even mad at the poor kid that died for “ruining Greek life”. Uh no, frats at SDSU have always hazed, especially with forcing pledges to drink excessively. I’ve heard some gnarly stories of hazing at SDSU. It just so happens this guy was a FIJI pledge. This could have happened to a SAE pledge, Phi psi pledge, etc. It almost seems to be an annual occurrence where a frat pledge dies from alcohol poisoning across the country - unfortunately this time was in SD. Maybe this is a wake up call to stop this ridiculous hazing culture among frats because people are literally dying. Instead of getting mad that Greek life is “ruined”, recognize that serious reform must take place and that frats could still be fun for everyone involved without intense hazing. For the sake of the life lost and those who loved him, I think it would be a good idea to get together as a community and take a step forward to support the victim’s family and friends. Maybe organize a vigil or something, idk (unless that was already planned). But stop being immature and selfish about what just happened. Have a heart.
