Not true actually, the only 2 fraternities to have gotten kicked off by the university itself in the last decade are Phi Kap in 2017 & Sammy in 2009. Every other chapter had their charter pulled by their national. KA in 09, K-Sig in 2010, Sig Nu in ‘12, Sig Chi in 13, D-Sig in ‘14 & Sig Nu again last year. The university is real quick to hand out probations & temporary reduced privileges suspensions but usually doesn’t like to boot chapters itself unless they feel there’s no other reasonable option & the fraternity’s national has lost control of the chapter/isn’t pulling their weight to fix things
