I was in a top house and was miserable. I knew during rush I didn't really fit in with this house but wanted to be in a top tier sorority. Once in I didn't click with the other girls and felt I couldn't really be myself. I dropped. All my friends who are in houses deemed "lower" have made really close friends and have had an awesome experience. My advice - pick the house where you feel you truly fit. Don't let rankings influence you.
