It's kind of ironic!

It's kind of ironic because SDSU is not what people think it is It's ten miles from the ocean, so it's not a beach party school.There is nothing to do on campus or within walking distance of campus. Academically SDSU is great! SDSU has a huge number of nationally ranked programs. Most courses are pretty rigorous. Plus you can take Surfing as a graded course. Of course you'll need to buy a car to get to Mission Beach. SDSU is a great place to get an education, but socially it's less than great. That's kind of ironic!
