Fail to get a bid or reach initiation and you'll be shunned by the Greeks. They love and respect you this week, by next week they won't even recognize you exist. It's a binary system. Anyone who says you were close, but didn't get in is lying to you. If they didn't give you a bid they will never give you a bid. No sane person wants to Rush and pledge twice. It will destroy your freshman year. Greek life is great and being a successful GDI is very difficult. Be thoughtful and introspective. Find the fit that will serve you best during the next four years and for the rest of your life
