No one is having higher standards for mid tiers than top tiers. Mids can’t get a lot and tops can. I’m not saying mids are equal to base but a top with mids is the same as a mid with a bottom. Both bad but not enough to keep you from your tier. Both should pair better but it’s not always about tiers.
