Sorority Tier Explanations - Fall 2022 Top Tier: (ΚΔ, ZTA, ΑΔΠ) These are the three top chapters. The tops tend to go for the most confident and facey, social, and well-rounded girls. Sometimes they can be superficial but they are definitely getting more diverse. Highly competitive, often involved in drama. They are more elite, with high expectations and standards. These chapters have girls that are involved, amazing and a majority have close sisterhoods. Upper Mid Tier: (ΠΒΦ, ΚΑΘ, ΔΔΔ) The upper mid chapters are very social and beautiful, some cookie cutter. Highly competitive and have drama. Some of these chapters are getting more diverse but they definitely need improvement. There’s a big focus on looks and image. They are the party girls who tend to get into trouble, but they have fun. They are great girls, involved, with a strong sisterhoods for the most part. True Mid Tier: (ΑΞΔ, ΧΩ) These solid mid chapters have a big mix of personalities and the girls are genuine, fun and pretty. They tend to be more diverse and recruit for substance as well as good looks. Social, involved, but not overly competitive and don’t get involved in drama. They are really nice girls with very close sisterhoods. Lower Mid Tier: (ΑΕΦ, ΚΚΓ) The lower mid girls are so smart and cute. These girls are usually the ones that you wouldn’t think of as typical “sorority girls.” They are really nice and some are the wholesome “good girls”. They tend to be more low-key, and sometimes are a bit on the quieter side. They are also diverse and involved, no drama. These chapters have sweet girls with really strong sisterhoods. Bottom Tier: (ΔΖ, ΓΦΒ) These girls are very outgoing, diverse and kind. They are not the most popular chapters, but have some cute, fun and some awkward girls. They are not super social, but they are very involved in philanthropy and campus events. They have a bit of a tougher time with recruitment based on their rank, and not having houses is a definite drawback. They are awesome girls who have fun, no drama, they have a very close knit sisterhoods.
