The post above me is 100% right. The cost of dues is just the start. BEING in a sorority costs even more. Buying presents, donations, mandatory outfits for philanthropy events, taking a little....the list goes ON! If paying for dues seems too out of reach, you may have a hard time enjoying the sorority because A) you work your ass off all week just for dues or B) you can't afford the extra added costs to be really involved.
