No. It takes time to build up members for a fraternity-that’s fair. But you can not blame a terrible creepy reputation, being on and off judicial, loss of privileges and just overall disrespect from the Greek community on being a “newer house”. That’s the case with TKE. They actually have a great house (which they are losing) but if you bid anyone and your leadership sucks and every post and rank has them as a bad house then your house rep suffers. Being weird and creepy has nothing to do with being new. It means TKE pledges less than stellar kids. And Yup -Sig Chi has been around forever. But they also have great ratings from judicial and they have high standards.
