when you become part of the greek system it just becomes part of the game to learn as much as you can about your fellow fraternities. Top tier uses the info to gage their up 'n coming competition and how to stay ahead of it middle tier uses it to improve until they can become top tier and keep bottom tiers from moving up and bottom uses it to try to establish a rep on campus. Basically if you want to find out about any fraternity ask your friends in fraternities (preferably different ones) about the fraternities you are interested in and after 4-5 guys/girls from multiple frat/sororities you will get a good picture
