U of A and ASU each have their strengths. ASU is easier to get into. U of A is not lower than CSUs. CSUs are impacted, not better. And, some are not great at all. Certainly equal to UCSC and UCR. Possibly bottom half of PAC 12, but so are any other non-CA schools. Achievements have a lot to do with grants, endowments and PR. AZ schools could step up PR. Just not as well publicized.
