Don't let anyone tell you "awesome alphas are like this" and beautiful betas are like that." Girls can only speak for what THEIR OWN houses are like. Sure, they can spout of reputations and cut other houses down, but when it gets down to it, reputations are only reputations. One house may be labeled lame, but their sisterhood may be great. This site may call a house "forgettable," but they may be your most memorable. Girls may say a house is uninvolved, but you may find this to be the exact opposite of that house's reality. What I'm saying is, this site is full of ridiculous generalizations and a few girls being nasty. This is NOT how Greek life really is. If you go in with an open mind, you will find your house, and you'll love it, regardless of what anyone on this site has to say about it. You can let people who post nasty things here discourage you, but I encourage you not to. Had I listened to this site I wouldn't have touched my house with a ten foot pole, but I didn't listen. I ended up joining an amazing group of women, being happier than I've ever been, and loving the U of A more than I ever thought I would.
