The best thing you can do is go through recruitment with an open mind. Doing that will allow you to make your own judgments about what houses you actually like. Also- I got dropped from my top pick house (the one my best friend was in), so just because you want a certain house, it doesn't mean you'll get it. If you have your hopes set on a house it'll be that much harder if you get dropped.
