There's really no difference. Most girls are crying because they were rejected by a top house and rejection sucks! They go into recruitment with false hopes. The middle and low houses can actually have better sisterhoods than the top houses because they aren't as pretentious and they offer the same events/activities/formals as the top houses. They also get to go to all of the same fraternity parties as the top houses. I was crushed when the top sororities dropped me but ended up in a middle house that I absolutely love because the girls are so down to earth. The whole tier system sucks. Each house has something special to offer.
