I was curious about what those three sororities require re: transfers since my sorority requires a vote regardless of chapter. I found the transfer policies for Pi Phi and Kappa on their websites and it gives a national policy that says every chapter is required to vote whether or not to take a transfer member. I didn't find anything for Alpha Phi. There's an entire process involved to "apply to transfer" that starts with having your local chapter notify the new chapter regarding if you were a member in good standing, current with financials, etc. My chapter has had two transfers. Even if you come from a good chapter and are all the things you say, you may or may not get votes in. Another factor to consider is finding a group of girls you bond with since most girls have done that already since pledging; that said, we had one affiliate who was a better fit than sons members who pledged here.
