AXO is a music sorority. It was founded by music majors. OP, if you want to live in a sorority house while you are at UA, you most likely will not get to do that if you join the ASA colony, due to the housing situation here. (Any new sorority no matter their national "tier" or financial situation will have a difficult time finding land/a house here, period.) However, they will still have all the other activities that sororities have like philanthropies and pairs with fraternities. It will definitely be a different experience but not as different as people on here are trying to make it seem.
