(cont'd) Also, even if you did have a good gpa, you could still very well have been cut by a lot of houses. If they REALLY loved you and thought you were worth the risk, they could have easily made an exception. But they didn't. So it wasn't meant to be. Move on. Everything happens for a reason. You were not cut from recruitment all together. I know for a fact no one was. You have at least one house left. They DID make an exception for you because they like you and want to get to know you better. They invited you into THEIR home and are doing their best to make you feel welcome. The least you could do is give them a chance. They're doing the same for you. Also, I'm sorry if anything I said was harsh. But the truth is harsh. And like I said, I was literally in your same shoes. Being cut hurts. It does. Rush is hard. But being in a sorority is better than not being in one. SO many of the girls who drop out because they don't like their remaining options regret it. They end up rushing again their sophomore year and surprise surprise they get invited back to the same houses. Because those were the houses that loved them. Except this time around, they gave them a chance, joined their houses, and wished they had that extra year to spend with them that they threw away.
