I would avoid letting the perceived harshness of each chapter's pledging be a major factor - it's a very brief period of time and likely isn't as difficult as you think it will be (this is NU after all). That being said, if most of your friends are hot on another chapter, then thats definitely a major factor take into account. Ultimately though, this is YOUR decision - not your friends. Choose the right place for you, where you see yourself meshing the best and where you identify the most with in terms of personalities, character, and values.
