Here's the thing - nobody has any problem with being proud of your fraternity. The reason why people get upset is because of things like this or specifically saying you're better than other frats. As a member of a "lower-mid tier" frat with friends in many other organizations, it's not my Pike or Phi Delt or even DU friends who have this rampant insecurity regarding respect and the superiority complex that AEPi seems to have. The only times I have ever heard the words "my frat is better than yours" has been from AEPi guys. Things like that or expressing happiness at other organizations' misfortune is why people don't like you and make posts making fun of you. Frankly, AEPi is almost a caricature of frat guys trying to be hard and "fratty" to fit in, and maybe if people would chill out for a second and show some respect then you wouldn't be made fun of on this site.
