What do sororities even do? Frats throw all the parties; what even is the point of sororities? Do they just get together as some sort of club? Or do people join sororities for cheaper food/rent.etc? I understand sisterhood, but how can sororities justify as high dues as frats when they don't even throw parties and don't even have as much liability (sororities are very rarely forced to pay million-dollar lawsuits, while they are more common in frats). To summarize, I don't understand the point of sororities and don't see how they are different from just a club.
