Frats aren’t allowed to give bids out until the first night after the break (so like second half of the night). So you can use the first dinner as a chance to see both places and decide which you want to focus on first. For your best chances with a house stay their the whole Monday night and Tuesday dinner, if they haven’t talked to you at that point and you’ve shown that interest there’s nothing wrong with asking a brother you’re close with if realistically you’ll get a bid there. I’ve had friends go to two houses back and forth and didn’t get bids at either, so make sure you commit to one to maximize your chances early.
