Bump!! The reasons why I wanted to join a sorority as a freshman are a ton different than why I'm still in my sorority now. Yes, when I was a freshman I was concerned about the social stuff, but now that I'm an upperclassman it's really the friends I've made and the support I've had that have made me continue to come back to my sorority. I think if I had joined a more social sorority yeah it would've been more fun at first but I don't think I would've been as happy my junior and senior year. (not to say that you shouldn't join a more social sorority if you want to be happy, but if your personality doesn't mesh well with them you definitely shouldn't).
