They matter a -little- bit. Ranking in individual tiers is pretty useless because it boils down to preference. It's hard to be general for frats since there are so many and some are clearly more relevant than others. 1) SAE, Pike, Sig Chi, ZBT 2) Phi Delt, Phi Psi 3) Delt, Beta 4) AEPi, Sig Nu 5) Lambda Chi, DU, Delta Chi 6) Sig Ep, Theta Chi, FIJI Sorority rankings haven't really changed in years, but upper mid may fluctuate between each other. Zeta is below Gamma Phi. DG is above gamma phi and Zeta, but trailing behind Alpha Phi. Some prefer DG over Pi Phi.
