I spent 2 years in a local (respectfully not naming it, but I'm sure you could guess) and finally dropped after being hazed and having to watch others be hazed/feeling pressured to haze others. A lot of locals, from my experience, are built on an internal tier system where you're expected to respect and listen to higher roles even when they're wrong or being cruel. The sisterhood was surface level in my experience and based on partying and immature things. I'm better off having left. I gained very little post-grad skills and met few people who were actually at university for their education....
