So reading up on all the posts below here, it seems that if guys who can't afford frats are left with a crappy option in terms of social life when it comes to spirit groups. Does anyone know an alternative to joining fraternities around campus? I realize that nothing will actually match up to the greek experience, but I can't ask my parents to shell out more money when I'm already funding myself halfway through college
