Idk anything about iron spikes. Wranglers have a pretty strict workout thing they do so if you're not into that fitness stuff you won't like them. Actually they're like fitness freaks so people just consider them douche heads. If you're looking for a spirit group go with Tejas hands down. They're the closest thing to a frat and have a nice house and history at UT. Honestly I would say Tejas is more respected that all of the bottom and the screw off middle tier feats. Obviously fraternities are a better option. But as spirit groups go Tejas is the best option. Kind of like a middle tier frat. With better quality members but no where near the social scene. Not even compared to some bottom tier frats.
