I DON'T CARE if some of us have our pledge classes picked out already, rudeness is inexcusable and whoever the eff these nationals reps are should be aware of what goes on. I'm in a "top" house. I don't care if we know we're probably going to cut a girl, I try to be as friendly as I can and learn something good about her in case there's still quota room. Just because y'all don't like someone doesn't mean you need to let them know and hurt them during a process that everyone finds hellish enough. Imagine if someone had done that to you during rush. These are all the ways I know and have seen people be awful to pnms during recruitment: - Putting people in a separate room during open house at Pi Phi: it's not the dance that's the problem, it's that room. - Making fun of PNMs at Kappa and having them stand in front of the fan deliberately. Actives making up names and hometowns that aren't theirs. Ridiculing PNMs they really don't want instead of just being cordial for 5 minutes. - ChiO - the worst by far. Blatant exclusion of some girls from any conversation where they'll literally just stand there and say nothing to the pnm. - DG has also been ridic on occasion. IF A PNM CAN TELL YOU DGAF AND DON'T EVEN VALUE HER PRESENCE, THAT'S BAD. LIKE, VERY BAD. So much for all these manners y'all talk about on here. TriDelt, Zeta, and Theta aren't bad. Neither are the rest of the houses. The conduct in the above four described, however, needs a crackdown.
