I agree. If you're wearing that much makeup and chiffon that you can't just jump around and have fun for 10 minutes, it says a lot about you. If you vehemently hate the dance, Pi Phi probably isn't the place for you. They're just having fun!!!! The thing I like about Pi Phi is, no one knows if they like you or not. I thought they didn't care until I got invited back all the way through pref. I was kind of mad they didn't talk to us much the first or second rounds though, but having been through their process, it keeps the suspense without raising any hopes or treating PNMs poorly or unfairly.
