So I know this is a very controversial question to ask on this site, but I wanted to find out from you guys if you think greek life is worth the money that you guys put into it. Unlike most people in greek life who have their parents pay for them, I will be paying 100% of the fraternity dues and fees and I don't know if I'm ready to let go of nearly 2 years of my savings go so quickly. I'm currently looking at middle-tier houses like ato and phi psi which are "affordable" but still around 5-6k in general. If you think this may be overpriced, can you guys recommend any alternatives possibly like sprit groups? Anyways just looking for some thoughts here before I enter this university and join a brotherhood.
