Orientation advise: If you are a cool kid, just not from one of the big feeder schools and do not not know very many people, you can still get a bid at a good UT fraternity such as Delt, ATO, Sigma Chi, or Pike so I would try and get your foot in the door at those places during orientation. I see way too many kids that go to top fraternities parties during orientation with their roommates and such who never stood a chance and waste the opportunity to get their name out there at more realistic places for them. Trust me, Fiji, SAE, SigEp, KSig have already contacted the people who they are interested in and will eventually bid. So you should already know who you are.
