continued: Tri Delt: Interesting mix of girls. Gives kind of a "horse-girl" vibe. They are pretty academically focused as a house with that part being similar to ChiO just way less homogenous. Some are nice girls while others run that "big 6 status" to the ground despite being the worst out of all them. Not a ton of party girls in this house but more so than ChiO. They definitely have a dark horse group in each PC. Does not judge for physical appearance. Mostly instate/southern because of big 6. DG: Really love DGs. This is a house that has been on the come up since I've been a freshman. They've been moving away from the artsy/nerdy vibe and recruiting more the pretty party girl kind. Very involved on campus and have one of the best physical houses. Becoming more of a looks house. Extremely slept on. Coming for AXO and Aphi. Theta: Pretty lowkey house, you won't see Theta girls wearing their stuff around campus and a lot of them don't put their letters in their bio. LOT of party girls in this house. Not really active on social media and seem to "not care" about recruitment. They want girls who know who they are basically and they do great every year. Party house of big 6. Great retention rate. Mostly instate/southern because big 6. KD: Mostly artistic and smart with girls in very difficult majors while being one of the top GPA houses. Known for having a decent amount of partiers but never really see them. Very laid back and nice girls. Diverse and doesn't really judge PNMs based on looks. Lots of out of state girls. Kappa: People will tell you Kappa or Pi Phi is the best sorority at UT. From someone not in either, I think KKG has the edge. Great mix of fun, pretty, party girls and smarter, religious ones. Amazing retention, girls don't drop Kappa. Everyone coincides surprisingly well despite the differences between the groups. Way more involved than Pi Phi on campus. Basically only instate/southern although have been taken some "far" girls lately. Pi Phi: Girls are either really wild or not all. Not very active on social media. Has not been doing as well in recruitment lately and maybe it's because they are not active at all on social media. Also heard they are off-putting to some PNMs during recruitment. If you're not on their radar, talking to them over rush is like talking to a brick wall. The "old row" houses and sigep love Pi Phi. RICH GIRLS. Need to drop that superiority complex though because old row and big 6 matter less every year. Zeta: Extremely popular house over recruitment. Very competitive to get into especially in recent years. Along with Aphi & AXO, they are very tapped into Tiktok rush. Decently diverse and the most followed big 6 sorority. Really pretty, pageant type of girls. Some very nice girls but some very rude/stuck up ones too. Second party house of big 6 but less than Theta (& maybe Pi Phi). Mostly instate/southern because big 6.
