sororities are supposed to meet a quota of bids. based on how X sorority rates PNMs and how PNMs rank X sorority, the X sorority’s bid list can be below quota which is not good for X sorority. so X sorority is allowed to snap bid any PNM that was voted on during recruitment, even if they were dropped earlier on in recruitment. X sorority snap bids PNMs until they meet their quota, which is set by Panhellenic and is the same for all sororities. (: PNMs are eligible for snap bidding as long as they didn’t sign an MRABA which usually happens after pref rankings are submitted. hopefully this makes sense!
