At the end of the day, Texas greek life is tough no matter what house you go, ESPECIALLY if you are out of state. Southern sororities are cliquey and most of these girls have known they were going to UT or what sorority they'd be in since they were born. Someone from every single sorority house could name a negative experience that they've had. No one is going to be friends with their entire chapter. No one is going to be liked by everyone. THAT'S LIFE!!!! You can't blame a sorority for not making friends, it's only there as a vessel to help you socialize. If you suck and are mean and judgey, it wouldn't be any easier to make friends at any other house. As far as girls talking about other girls behind their backs, can we stop pretending we're all saints and that we've NEVER said something bad about someone before? So please, take what you see on social media with a grain of salt and judge the house you go based on the way you feel when you're there.
